2026 LCA Election Commission

The Election Commission of the Liberian Community Association of Central New Jersey and its Metropolitan Areas (LCA) is an independent, neutral body established to organize, oversee, and administer free, fair, and transparent elections within the community.

At this pivotal moment in our community’s history, the Commission serves as a trusted institution responsible for safeguarding the democratic process and ensuring that every eligible member has the opportunity to participate in shaping the future of the organization

2026 LCA COMMISSIONERS

This body shall be known as the Election Commission of the Liberian Community Association for the 2026 Special Election.

The purpose of the Election Commission is to plan, organize, and conduct free, fair, and transparent elections in accordance with the Association’s Constitution and best practices.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Chair: Oversees Commission activities and presides over meetings.

  • Secretary General: Manages records, communications, and documentation.

  • Treasurer: Manages finances and prepares reports.

  • Advisor: Provides guidance and supports decisions.

  • Registrar: Manages voter registration and database.

FINANCIAL AUTHORITY
The Commission shall maintain an independent bank account for election-related funds. Authorized signatories shall be approved by the Commission, with any two signatures required for transactions.
